  Pete's has become a summer staple for friends and myself when dining in Sylvan Lake.
  Their breakfasts are amazing and after several visits now I have been able to try all their marvellous meals.
  From the moment you walk into the funky decorated interior, your theme is being set as your eyes wonder around the world of collective artifacts all gathered together and all for you to explore.
  In that time period you'll find your own seat, weather permitting you may make your way out onto their Lake front view deck or the sun peeking through a well treed back deck where again your eyes will be widened by taking in all the wall items.
  Your meals are made fresh so timing isn't any different than if you were in your own kitchen (minus the mess and clean up) the food is always hot and the taste is amazing.
  I am bias for their breakfast meal but enjoy all their food.
  It's atmosphere, I would certainly describe as quiet, peaceful and laid back, Just the way a Lakefront holiday destination restaurant should be.
  If it's with friends, by yourself or for a business meet, it is definitely the place to be when in Sylvan Lake.

  I am a harsh critic, but I was delightfully surprised because, with a picky toddler and a family with diverse taste buds, we found something tasty for everyone! The kids loved looking at all the collectables!

  I'm so happy Pete's is open again! Best food in town - everything made from scratch. I have many favourites like the Mexican burger, Hot Licks pizza and the sandman fries oh let's not forget the French onion soup.....If you have not eaten at Pete's yet make sure you get down here before Halloween because that's when they close for the season.

  We went here tonight with my family for the first hot day this year. First time was great, mid-summer, good food, good service. They were open for the first day of the season. We had our drink order taken by a fellow. A server named Anna came and we gave her our appy order. They started to get busier and we ordered our meals after a while. The fellow from earlier brought out our food and my mom asked him for a refill on her soda. He huffed and rolled his eyes and came back with a pitcher of soda for just her. He didn't bring out the rest of the meals of which two were missing. We asked if our burger and pork ribs were coming and he said rather rudely "I don't know, I think there's one more [burger] coming. There's about 30 orders up and only one person in the kitchen!" So we waited a while and our server who was running around frantically trying to apologize to some upset customers for the late food. She came over and asked if we had everything and we told her about our missing orders. She apologized and said she would check on them. When she came back she said they hadn't been started yet. We told her not to worry we filled up on appies. We cancelled the missing orders and she was genuinely sorry for how things were going. Overall: Anna did the best she could and did her job wonderfully considering the mess, it was also her first day there. She took a lot of flack that night from some very impatient customers even though it wasn't her fault. The kitchen was massively understaffed for the first hot patio day. The food we did receive was pretty good. But if it wasn't for Anna I don't think we would have left as happy. She did her job, wrote everything down and checked on us while being very busy. Thanks Anna!
